Here you will find some of the common problems that Delica owners deal with from mechancial to body leaks and issues. Remember, after addressing these problems, your vehicle will give you many more years of unique use. After all, these are already 15 years old.

We'll start with Leaks;

Problem: Foot well leaks Drvier and Passenger sides
Fix: Body panels above headlights removed, body seams resealed.
Foot Well LEAK REPAIR
So the rain has started in BC. Have you found your carpets wet on driver and passenger side? Smell damp inside your vehicle? The problem is after 15 or so years, the body panel seam sealer becomes brittle and cracks. water seeps at seam joints. The most common location is under the small corner panel just above each headlight assembly. We remove the lights and panels and scrape clean and re-seal the leak location. This solves the leak issue in most cases.
There is also a chance that the seal around the windshield is leaking or where the gutter meets the window on driver's side (hole in body).

Problem: Crytal Lite roof leaks. Will show up as stains on roof or water on rear seats.

Problem: Sun shades not working.
Fix: Remove interior headliner. Repair when fixing leaks in roof.

Problem: Steering wheel not centered.
Fix: Almost All Delicas will need an alignment when they arrive.

Problem: Rattling Noise in front end. Stabilizer bar bushings cracked or missing.
Fix: Replace Stabilizer bar bushings with NRG Suspension Shock tower bushing kit. (RED)
Fix#2: Driver Side Upper Ball joint. This is usually the one that goes.
